    At the Canterbury Baptist Church Balwyn road Canterbury yesterday evening the wedding was celebrated of Miss Marjorie Constance McCue elder daughter of the Rev and Mrs J Robertson McCue of Balwyn road Canterbury and Mr Archibald George Mathieson second son of Mr and Mrs A Mathieson of Nullawarre
    The ceremony was performed by the bride's father and she was given away by her uncle Mr A B Collins
    Her gown was of cream georgette over magnolia crepe de chine made with a full bodice buttoned from the neckline to the waist with pearls The stand-up collar was of pleated georgette and the skirt at the back formed a circular train The skirt and train were edged with pleated georgette and she wore a hand-made honiton lace veil Her bouquet was of cream roses and camellias.
    The bridesmaids were Misses Marjorie Hanson and Marie Harley. Their frocks were of cyclamen chiffon over mauve taffeta worn with matching boleros with full shirred elbow-length sleeves. Their cyclamen tulle veils were scattered with gold sequins and held in place with real flowers and they carried pink and mauve flowers
    Mr Syd Goldstiaw was the best man Mr John Mccue was the groomsman and the ushers were Messrs Lansell Madeley and William Horman A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents
