  	KELLS: Jessie Gertrude (nee Main) Passed away after a lengthy struggle at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday October 15th, 2002. Gertrude Kells of Elora, born May 25th, 1920 in Elora. Gertrude was a longtime devoted member of the Elora Women's Institute and The Elora U.C.W. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed her weekly bingo games. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Kells (1999) for 59 years. Loving mother of Nancy and her husband Arthur Wright of Fergus, Marg and her husband Leonard Coulson of Elora, Joyce and her husband Pat Martin of Fergus, Ken and his wife Alison of Fergus and David and his wife Paula of Fergus. Dear mother-in-law of Marj Kells of Burlington. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Annie Main of Elora. Predeceased by her son Jim (1993) and her sisters Hazel Kells and Lyla Main. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora, today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 18th, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Wm. Sparling officiating. Cremation. A reception will follow in the Elora United Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the A.L.S. Society of Ontario as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at 519-846-5352.
