  	The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1956) Friday 14 August 1942 MRS. P. MATHIESON. A FORMER resident of Cobden 15 years ago, Mrs Peter Mathieson, of Drumborg, near Heywood, died last week, The second daughter of Mr and Mrs John Nicol, of Cobden, she was 50 years old, and highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends. She is survived by her husband and 13 year old son, Neil. Sisters are Mrs C. Rankin (Geelong), and Mrs George Woods (Cobden). Mr Peter Nicol (North Cundare) is a brother. An uncle, Mr Peter Nicol, and several cousins live in Camperdown. Before the funeral to Cobden cemetery, a service was conducted at Mrs Woods' home by Rev. A. McLean, assisted by Mr A. Mathieson, Pilkington.
