Beloved wife of Ronald G. Fritch. Loving mother of Dennis (Carrie), Frances (Everrett), Janis (Brian), David (Wanda), Daniel (Michelle) and Bill. Loving grandmother and great grandmother. Sister of Barbara Kessler, Joyce Rosczewski and the late Shirley Russell.
Doris was a life long resident of Oxford and was employed for a short time at the old Oxford Theater were she was in charge of making popcorn. Doris and Ron began a life long love story and have been married for 62 years. Along with being a homemaker she had a passion for sewing, crocheting as well as spending time with her family. She always made holidays special especially at Christmas time with her popcorn ball tradition. Another family tradition that has been passed on is making homemade ice cream. Doris was always a warm, compassionate, caring person who will be remembered, cherished and missed by many.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, Friday September 30, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday September 29 from 2-9 PM.
